This is for all intents and purposes smut so I have to make this clear: please do not sexualize children, animals, or abuse using this au! Some content may be triggering, with allusions to BODILY FLUIDS, AGEPLAY, AGE REGRESSION, OMEGAVERSE, and BAKED IN DOM/SUB DYNAMICS. It also explores some content I’ve lifted from devilishMendicant on Ao3. Content from their au will be marked with this lovely green asterisk*, like so.

GLOSSARY

Term	Definition
Constant-aligned	While a misleading term, as any Temperaments can be changed over time with hormone use, varying levels of stress, and just plain age, this is used for temperaments that are constant in nature, such as those of the vanilla Omegaverse.
Headspace-aligned	This is used for temperaments that dabble in Headspaces, such as Littlespace and Dronespace.
Dual-temp	Dual-temp is a term used for those with 2 or more classifications. Two is common, more is rare.
Merge-temp	Merge-temp is a term used to differentiate Dual-temps where both classes come from the same category or ‘type’, like an Alpha who’s also an Omega.
Blank-space *	Headspace-aligned Temperaments (Especially Littles) who did not develop properly, and thus are barred from their Headspace.
Temp Hormones	Hormones that have to do with Temperament, produced by either Scent Glands that grow in during adulthood, or other parts of the body under certain circumstances. Can be used for HRT to transition to another temperament.

Constant-Aligned Temperament Catagories

Vanilla Omegaverse

Referred to in-universe as "Heat Temperaments", these are relatively unchanged from regular Omegaverse varients., however a couple of changes, such as scent and behavior, have been made, as well as Betas being entirely different. "Heat" can range from "nesting behavior" to a solid week of horniness, but those who wish to transition out of these Temperaments find that removing the newly-minted scent gland in their neck works wonders.

Temperament	Description
Alpha	Just because Alphas are portrayed as dominant tops doesn't mean that all Alphas are, although it certainly seems to be a default. Physical changes range from broader muscles, to a larger-than-average penis (Or pseudopenis!), and feelings of irritation accompanied by arousal. Expect scents of coffee, tobacco, and whiskey.
Beta	Betas are a blend of Alphas and Omegas, and hence they may find themselves not changing physically at all, or going back and forth between the two. May smell like either Alphas or Omegas at the same time.
Omega	Just because Omegas are portrayed as submissive bottoms doesn't mean they all are. Now where did you hear that before? Omegas need to hydrate a lot, as overactive mucosal glands can target multiple areas at once and create complications. Anal lubricant is produced, as well as lubricant in other areas. Expect scents of vanilla, cinnamon, and baked goods.

Vore

Yep. Vore. Take it or leave it. In all seriousness, these Temperaments are rarer than Heat temperaments.

Temperament	Description
Pred	Predators eat people, obviously, but the mix of hormones both nullifies stomach acid in the case the food moves, and makes their skin stretchier for larger meals, as well as giving them a large appetite. Can often be found with a lot of stretch marks. Smell like whatever they've been eating.

Prey	Prey don't get any smaller, but a lot of them gain a tad bit of hypermobility (although it's seperate from EDS), as well as tasting and smelling absolutely delicious. Skin thickens, gaining immunity to acid. Prey are often hired to work in jobs requiring a lot of chemical work, although their skin needs extra moisture and they often find themselves drawn to dark, moist, tight places. Thought to be a defense mechanism against predators in the wild, some people will still dose themselves on Prey hormones if they find themselves in risky jobs.
